If you are not
familiar with Poker play in Florida, the
maximum single bet in ring games allowed
has raised from the Previous $2 Limit
effective July 1, 2007. The various rooms
in Florida generally offer games in
Hold‘em, Stud, and Omaha with $100
maximum buy-in. If you want to play
higher limits, you will either have to go
on-line or out 3 miles, on a gambling
boat, the State $200 maximum limit does
not apply and $4-8 and $10-20 ring games
can be found on boats and games as high as
$300-$600 can be found on the on-line
cardrooms.

A smaller
poker room but run very efficiently, I think you’ll like it.
Daily tournaments and a total of 9 different games offered.
Single table 11 player shoot-outs run continuously from open
to close. The buy-in is $45 per player paying $210.00 to first
place and $142.00 to second place. At 6:30 pm they offer a
multi-table tournament. The buy-in is $50 per player. Payouts
are figured according to the amount of entrants to the
tournament.
The Silks Card Room is all new. The poker room features 9
different types of live action games. Seven card stud, Seven
card stud hi-lo, Texas hold’em, “action” Texas hold’em, Omaha
hi-lo, “action” Omaha hi-lo, Omaha hi only, crazy pineapple
and river down Texas hold’em. All live action games are $2
straight betting throughout and our stud games require a .50
cent ante.
The elegant air-conditioned room is completely non-smoking and
includes 16 poker tables. There are plenty TV monitors and
roaming tellers, so fans can watch, wager and win on all the
horseracing and simulcast action. Tableside beverage service
is offered, so no one has to miss a hand.
Along with the many live action games we also proudly present
our new tournament play. We hold the exclusive rights to the
Bay Area Tournament player of the month and year awards. Point
totals are accumulated when placing in the money and will be
posted on a weekly basis. Awards and prizes will be issued to
the player with the highest point total each month.
The silks card room is located on the second floor of the
grandstand. Poker player’s can look forward to our free player
buffet offered Sun-Wed 7pm-9pm on live racing days. The silks
card room is a smoke-free environment that is open every live
racing day from noon to 12am.
